We are very thrilled to keep going with our collaboration with Náutica & Yates Magazine, the reference magazine in Spain.
In our first article published last September, we tried to synthesise which are the most common defects when it comes to assessing the technical condition of a boat’s structure (full article here).
Since then we published last January our second article about some of the most common problems that affect the propulsion system of recreational boats.
The defects can be of various kinds and in this article we try to summarise the most recurring ones, hoping that they will serve as a guide for a boatowner or potential buyer of a boat to assess the state of this system and take the appropriate measures. You can access the full article here.
We are a bit late sharing these new articles, as we’ve been quite busy! We also have our third contribution, where we deal with some of the most common problems that affect the transmission and steering system. These include faulty propellers, corrosion on propeller/shaft anodes and shaft bearings, failure of sterndrive or inline shaft seals. Some of these defects, if not attended to, can cause more serious damage, for this reason it is necessary to respect the recommended maintenance intervals. Full article here.
And below you can find a full list of articles published in paper form in the last months (in Spanish). Hope you enjoy the reading!
