Deal Breakers Survey

The buying process

Going through a buying process requires energy, even more if the loving vessel is far away: you may decide to spend time, money and emotional effort for a boat that may have issues that an expert eye can detect rapidly.

Our Deal Breakers Survey is designed to do just that: a rapid survey to detect potential deal breakers and to allow you to decide if it’s worth going forward or look for another opportunity.

How?

Some yachts have hidden problems, others more evident ones. Structural problems maybe difficult to detect even for the owner or broker, but they involve the integrity of the vessel, its safety and represent a considerable expenditure to fix.

Before you even decide to make a down-payment, we can travel to the destination you specify and realise a valuable visit: we check the structure and main systems and detect problems rapidly, as we know where and how to look.

What you get

You will receive a brief report with pictures of the findings, including any proof of important issues to consider and a rough estimate of the vessel and of the repair costs for the issues found. And if you are eager to know the results, we can also arrange a video call with you to comment on the findings – right on the spot.

Is this survey upgradable?

If the inspection doesn’t reveal any dealbreakers and you’re keen to go forward with the buying process, we can then follow with a pre-purchase survey. Using a preferential rate, you can carry on with our most thorough and detailed survey to make the best rational decision when buying a vessel.

Tell us what you need and we will assist you promptly.
